OUAR ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ouar.ca website and related services (the "Services"), a curated resale and consignment platform for South Asian occasionwear serving the South Asian diaspora in North America, with current operations in the Greater Toronto Area.

5.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform and delivering our Services. These include:
• Shopify Inc. – storefront and transaction infrastructure
• Airtable – seller submission and inventory management
• Email and communication platforms
• Analytics and advertising platforms (see Section 6)
All service providers are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy law and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
5.2 Advertising Partners
We use third-party advertising tools, including Meta Pixel and Google Ads, which may collect information about your activity on our website in order to show you relevant advertisements on other platforms. • Seller submission data (including garment photos and intake form information):
retained for the duration of the consignment relationship and for a minimum of two
years following the final transaction, for record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes
• Transaction records: retained for a minimum of seven years as required under applicable
tax and financial record-keeping obligations
• Marketing consent records: retained for three years following the last commercial
message sent, or until consent is withdrawn, in accordance with CASL
• General account and communication data: retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide ongoing Services
When your information is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, or misuse. These include access controls, secure data storage, and encrypted transmission where applicable.
